      Belle B. Eure, widow of Mills R. Eure, slipped quietly from this life June 30, 2002, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Virginia Beach. Before moving to the nursing home, she lived her entire adult life in Portsmouth. She was born in 1911in Perquimans County, N.C.

      She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Aucoin and her husband James Aucoin. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Eure, who is survived by his wife Doris Eure. Belle Eure is also survived by her grandchildren Robbie Eure and Deedee Nuttand her family.

      In addition, she is survived by her brother Mack Lane and his wife Velma Lane of Hertford, N.C, and a stepbrother and his wife, George and Ethel Davis.

      For many years, Belle was an active member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Chesapeake. She was a past matron of Fellowship Chapter 140, OES, and a past guardian of Bethel 40, IOJD.

      A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Ted David. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, with an Eastern Starservice starting at 7 p.m.
