      Mary Elizabeth Ivey Dail Harrell, 103, of the 900 block of Halstead Blvd., died July 12, 1991, in a nursing home.

      Mrs. Harrell was born in Perquimans County. She was a member of Woodville Baptist Church and the widow of Benjamin Harrell.

      Survivors include five daughters, Fannie Stallings, Ethel Harrell, Elizabeth Harrell and Wilma Harrell, all of Hertford, and Beatrice Ownley of Elizabeth City; a son, Charlie E. Dail of New Hope; a sister, Bessie Goodwin of Norfolk; 25grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

      The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Church Street, by the Rev. Billy Old and the Rev. Robert Rattz. Burial will be in the family cemetery, New Hope. Friends may join the family at Route 4, Box176, Hertford.
